Guillaume Pazat was born in France in 1970 and he moved to Lisbon in 1998. He is licenced in Industrial Engineering by the University of Strasburg and he has the Master in Digital Cinema by the "Trazos School of Arts" in Madrid. One of the founders of Kameraphoto, since 1998 he has been working as a photographer to several european newspapers and magazines. Nowadays, he also develops projects in other areas, such as: video, art and movie direction.
In 2004, on a special request by the Portuguese magazine "Grande Reportagem", he travelled across Europe to photograph the ten new countries of European Union. In the 2005 edition of the portuguese photojournalism awards, he won the first prize "BES/Visão Fotojornalismo" for Reportage. However, in 2001 he had already been distinguished in the same competition and he obtained the prize of the "Sindicato dos Jornalistas" with his work about "Casal Ventoso". In 2007, he won the second prize of notodofotofest.com and, in Madrid, he directed the video-podcast serie "Madrid Expresso"- the first postcast multimedia of the Portuguese Press, dedicated to the European capital nearest Lisbon.

Guillaume Pazat nasceu em França em 1970 e mudou-se para Lisboa em 1998. É licenciado em Engenharia Industrial pela Universidade de Estrasburgo e tem um Master em cinema digital da Trazos school of arts de Madrid. Co-fundador do colectivo Kameraphoto, desde 1998 que trabalha como fotógrafo para vários jornais e revistas europeias. Hoje também desenvolve projectos na área do vídeo arte e da realização cinematográfica.
Em 2004, numa encomenda especial da revista Portuguesa Grande Reportagem deu a volta à Europa para fotografar os dez novos países-membros. Na edição de 2005 dos grandes prémios do fotojornalismo português, venceu o primeiro prémio BES/Visão Fotojornalismo, na categoria Reportagem. Em 2001, contudo, já havia sido distinguido com uma menção honrosa na mesma competição e arrecadou o prémio do Sindicato dos jornalistas com o seu trabalho sobre o Casal Ventoso. Em 2007, arrecadou o segundo prémio do notodofotofest,com e, a partir de Madrid, realizou a série em vídeo-podcast Madrid Expresso, o primeiro podcast multimédia da imprensa Portuguesa, dedicado à capital europeia mais próxima de Lisboa.
